Responsibilities

The Senior Engineer leads the network setup, implementation and operations. The primary objective of this role is on day-to-day network operations, troubleshooting and handle incident escalations. This position also provides customer facing network support and implementation. This role also includes pre-sales technical consultation alongside technical pre-sales teams.

Responsibilities:

• Handle incidents and escalations related to the data network
• Manage and operate terrestrial network and VSAT platforms
• Proactively monitor network usage and perform load balancing
• Coordinate with internal team to manage change management requests
• Coordinate with different departments for site commissioning
• Perform troubleshooting on routing, security & voice related incidents

Profile

The Senior Network engineer, Data Services is an individual with background in IP Network, and knowledge with VSAT implementation and operation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Communication Engineering or relevant disciplines
• 10 years of experience on satellite communications, IP Networking, VoIP and Terrestrial MPLS
• Comprehensive knowledge of Satellite theory and applications
• Cisco background & certification preferred
• Cybersecurity experience utilizing Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Fortinet Firewalls
• Technical background in stabilized antenna systems
• Technical background in VSAT modem technologies
• Part of a 24×7 on-call team
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Demonstrable technical interest and competence, attention to detail, problem solving skills, desire to design & build & test, drive for results
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
