Responsibilities

• Architect and build Software Development Processes and Automation
• Particularly in the areas of Build Management, Version Control, Test and Quality.
• Use off the shelf tools augmented with in-house developments
• Implement and maintain processes and solutions
• Support Software Engineering staff in the use of these solutionn

Profile

Essential:

• Of designing and implementing solutions using:
• Module/Application Test frameworks similar to Behave/Cucumber/Selenium.
• Unit Test Frameworks similar to Junit, GoogleTest, CPPUTest, CPPUnit.
• Version control repository tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket
• Build tools such as Make/Ant/Gradle/Maven/Jenkins etc.
• Configuration Management and Build/Version Management
• Issue Management tools similar to Jira or Redmine
• Code/Design Quality Metrics
• Linux and Network Systems Management
• Software Development Life Cycle

Desirable:

• REST Based APIs or similar
• Application Integration and Testing/QA
• Django/SQLAlchemy/Flask
• SonarQube/ParaSoft/CPPCheck/CheckStyle or similar.
• VirtualBox/Docker
• Artifactory or similar
• Mocking and Mocking Tools

This role is based in the Manchester/Farnborough office although some occasional travel may be required to visit customers, suppliers or other SatixFy Design Centres in the UK, Europe, Israel and the USA.
