To provide assistance and support to the overall SV Finance Team, ensure the integrity of the system data, assist with process improvements and help with the provision of management information to aid decision making. Very strong team player required to work across multiple finance disciplines whilst maintaining excellent levels of service provision.

Responsibilities

• Overhead departmental budget preparation, budget and forecast management and variance analysis
• Preparation of monthly reconciliations and journals working to strict deadlines
• Development of Company rates, liaising with the customer and CAAS
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register and management of annual Capital budget in liaison with Head Office in the US
• Develop working relationships across all areas of finance and wider business.
• Responsive to customer requirements both internal and external
• Develop reports for senior management and prepare monthly reports for submission to Head Office in US
• Ensure adherence to processes and procedures
• Coordinate external audit queries in relation to Overhead activity
• Coordinate SoX audits
• Assist Operations Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks/projects where required.
• Assisting LS-UK operations team with Overhead, Asset and bid Management tasks
• Operations Finance Manager cover during absences

• Very strong analytical skills and experience
• Attention to detail who is methodical, structured and disciplined
• Flexible to support rapidly changing priorities
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to multi task and willingness to learn new skills
• Knowledge of Oracle based system or equivalent ERP

Required Education and Experience:

• Essential: Accounting background or ACCA or CIMA qualification
• Team oriented person who can focus on detail
• Working knowledge of Oracle
• Excellent excel skills
