ESSP, a private company with 7 major European Air Navigation Service Providers as shareholders, manages the operation and supports the adoption of the European Satellite Based Augmentation System to GPS: EGNOS.

The adoption of this service is rapidly growing given it allows correcting the GPS signal and offers enhanced features with accurate positioning and integrity within safety-of-life services context such as public transportation.

Responsibilities

In charge of the definition and implementation of the EGNOS adoption actions in support to the Customer in the frame of the “EGNOS Multimodal Adoption Plan”. In charge of the implementation of EGNOS promotion activities in support to the Customer and in coordination with the ESSP Communication Officer.

The Service Adoption Expert is responsible for:

  • Supporting the Customer in the implementation of the “EGNOS Multimodal Adoption Plan”:
  • Providing inputs to the “EGNOS Multimodal Adoption Plan”,
  • Implementing specific adoption actions delegated at the beginning of each year by the Customer,
  • Reporting on a regular basis on the implementation of the actions.
  • Supporting the definition of technical and promotion tools to foster EGNOS adoption in the frame of the “EGNOS Multimodal Adoption Plan”,
  • Supporting the implementation and reporting of promotion actions defined by the Customer on a yearly basis,
  • Supporting definition and implementation of the Users Proactive Monitoring:
  • Monitoring EGNOS services performance versus user’s expectations,
  • Monitoring the progress on EGNOS Multimodal Adoption.
  • Contributing to the EGNOS Bulletin.

Job Requirements

  • Available for regular travels, especially in Europe
  • Experience of at least 5 years in Performance Based Navigation, in specific GNSS application domains, market and user oriented
  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Experience in projects in an international context (European)
