Sapienza is looking for the professional to join the Finance team in our office in SBIC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands

We work primarily within the Space and Defence sector, interacting with micro to large private sector and government organisations where we deploy our contingent workforce. We are also active in the software sector; with Enterprise level solutions and the start-up world in the Artificial Intelligence and Chatbot domains.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management and execution of daily tasks for the Account Receivables and Account Payables administration
• Responsible for the creditors and debtors aging reports and analysis
• Assist activities for account/bank reconciliations
• Monitor the general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
• Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of billing discrepancies or issue resolution
• Contact suppliers for Account Payables issue resolution
• Participate and assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Optimize operational Account Receivable/Payable processes
• Participate in ad-hoc activities and creation of ad-hoc reports
• Participate in audit activities

Profile

• MBO/Vocational studies or higher education in finance/accounting or equivalent
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Fluent in English and intermediate Dutch language skills are desirable
• Excellent computer skills (Excel essential)
• Experience with Exact, and Sage is a plus
• Experience in working at a complex multinational organization is a plus
• High level of accuracy and detail-orientated
• Strong communication skills
• To be able to work independently and in a team
