TP Group Sapienza France is looking to recruit several Space Communications engineers (junior and senior) – 5G/Mobile communications to be based in Toulouse-France. The incumbent will have a proven track record in in Space engineering and/or 5G/Mobile telecommunications, embedded systems preferably specifically with design, engineering of high availability, scalable complex embedded networking systems.

Responsibilities

• Defining, analysing and documenting communication system requirements.
• Communication systems design, analysis and modelling
• Link budget analysis.
• Software design, development and support activities for Modem software
• Design analysis techniques including reliability, dependability and safety analysis.
• Assembly, integration and verification methods.
• Technology and capability roadmapping.
• Technical leadership role,
• Actively participate in systems and protocol design to come up with innovative solutions
• Work with technical leads across teams and disciplines to develop high availability scalable satellite systems
• Mentor, lead and train junior engineers

Profile

• • M.S. in Computer Engineering / Computer Science
  • 7 or more years of work experience in software engineering, with progressively increasing responsibilities
  • French speaker & technical English

Preferred Qualifications :

• • Demonstrated expertise in IP Networking and TCP/IP protocol suite, including IPv6, L2/L3 switching/routing, and related technologies
  • Several years of experience developing IP/TCP/UDP applications and/or protocol implementation
  • Strong software development skills
  • Demonstrated track record of innovation
  • Knowledge or experience in Satellite-based systems
  • Knowledge or experience in Wireless systems based on 3GPP standards (4G LTE, 5G NR, 5G NTN)
  • Self-motivated individual with a “can do” attitude and the drive to learn new things
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong technical writing skills to ensure software and technical decisions are described clearly with required illustrations
