Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a AV Content and Production to work at NATO NCIA in Mons, Belgium.

Responsibilities

Under guidance of Head, Creative Media Conference Services and/or other CMCS Manager (Creative Manager) but largely on own initiative, incumbent will perform duties mainly within Mons and Brussels area of responsibility, such as:

Content, Photo/Video – 75%

  • Develop, coordinate, and share Agency content for written, visual, and video productions delivered via print, electronic, social media, etc.
  • Liaises with functional experts to create videos and news items on scientific, technical, social and educational subjects, including but not limited to sound recording, camera work, basic video editing and sound editing
  • Take studio and on-location photographs and video recordings of NCI Agency courses, events, visitors, equipment and computer screens during field tests
  • Exercises and in operational environments for showing in official NCI Agency documents, brochures, video productions, presentations and websites, and for external stakeholders, media and press
  • Edit and print photographs using dedicated software and printers
  • Manage, operate and maintain all photographic, video and audio devices, including but not limited to photo/video cameras, video and sound editing systems
  • Support and advise Agency staff in photo, video and audio techniques
  • Stay abreast of all professional software and hardware developments, and industry developments in areas of responsibility, and assesses the relevance for implementation at the Agency to increase quality and efficiency of work
  • Reach back to CMCS, The Hague for technical guidance or to coordinate products above and beyond local scope

Audio-visual (25%):

  • Liaises with functional experts to install, maintain and provide first level assistance for audio visual and video teleconferencing systems
  • Ensures equipment functionality in all Agency meeting/conference rooms
  • Provide on-call response to NCI Agency AV and VTC systems in NNHQ, Brussels, Belgium with a 1+ hour response time
  • Generate and submit List of Materials (LOM) and monitor ordering of AV equipment and materials
  • Communicate and coordinate on-site with clients, Building and Facility staff, IT-staff, and other related service lines as required to complete AV installation
  • Continually work to improve customer service perception and satisfaction
  • Provide feedback to management and co-workers in order to improve system implementations, engineering, and day-to-day workflow
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and provide lifecycle forecast to management

Profile

  • Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
  • Excellent English language skills – written and spoken at a Journalistic Level
  • Develop creative media products for corporate and project communication campaigns and cross-media approaches
  • Front-end technical, creative and content management of all official NCI Agency communications channels (intranet, website, YouTube channel, social media, digital signage)
  • Captures photo and video imagery such as group photos, interviews, b-roll, etc
  • Plans, Executes, Edits photo and video productions, products and services
  • Collaborates with a multimedia team to help contribute to deliverable products
  • Accomplishes cradle to grave professional conference services support to meetings, conferences, and other events
  • Ensures professional AV systems support, operations, maintenance and repairs in support
  • Higher vocational training in photography or film/video production
  • Minimum experience as audiovisual content creator or videographer of three years
  • Experience with professional and broadcast level photo and video (HD) systems and equipment
  • Understanding of colour management principles and ability to apply
  • Strong knowledge and experience with use of PC systems and dedicated photo, video and audio editing applications (Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, InDesign), digital multimedia compositing and authoring software, and conversion tools
  • Experience conducting site surveys, designing and installing audio visual solutions
