Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a Service Delivery Advisor to work at NATO NCIA in Mons, Belgium.

Responsibilities

As Service Delivery Advisor, the incumbent will be responsible for organizing operational support activities, assisting Management with the technical knowledge required to manage NCSC activities, including technical guidance, Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support and service reporting.

Main responsibilities:

  • Act as the deputy to the Service Delivery Management Section (SDMS) Head Coordinate SDMS activities and ensure close collaboration between all parties.Advise on the Organisation of operational NCSC service support activities
  • Review the technical and administrative policies, processes, and documentation necessary to support the specific operational areas covered under NCIRC NCSC, and lead the development of those items
  • Carry out Analysis of system performance data and prepare reports and assessments ,for the NCSC Service Delivery Manager and Senior Management
  • Creation, maintenance and monitoring of service delivery performance ensuring schedule and quality through lifecycle
  • Meets with NCIA personnel to co-ordinate support issues and co-ordinates with system implementation personnel on acceptance and cut-over
  • Assist the NCIA NCSC to identify key concepts, factors and risks based on conversations and documents proposed engineering solutions in clear and concise narrative or graphic reports
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to support the continual availability and improvement of NATOs global Cyber Defence services together with NATO matrix managed Cyber Security Operations and Maintenance team
  • Provide specialist advice and input for people, tools, methodologies, business processes, equipment etc. from a service perspective
  • Provide specialist advice in the implementation of NCIA mandated Enterprise Service Delivery Management delivery

Profile

  • Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
  • University degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in relevant technical subject with substantial Information Technology (IT) content and at least 5 years of experience in support of integration, administration and operation of distributed information systems, with demonstrated experience in following areas:
  • Extensive experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), supplemented by ITIL v3 or v4 foundation certification
  • Extensive experience in project impacts on Service Operations, supplemented by project management certification (PMP or Prince2 foundation)
  • Experience in concepts, terms, processes, policy and implementation of information security
  • Experienced and well versed in Cybersecurity Tools, network topologies, intrusion detection, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and secured networks
  • Able to understand and differentiate between critical and noncritical systems and networks
  • Knowledge of latest security measures at all stages of information system lifecycle
  • Ability to solve complex problems involving a wide variety of information systems.
  • Possess high level of expertise in developing long-term strategies and be knowledgeable about various cyber threats and mitigations
  • Solid understanding of Information Security Practices; relating to Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of information (CIA triad)
  • Possess ability to identify key concepts, factors and risks based on conversations and document these in clear and concise narrative or graphic reports
  • Excellent skills in use of Office Automation Tools based on Microsoft Windows Office Suite

 

Desirable:

  • ITIL v3 or v4 Practitioner certification in Service Operations, or Service Design
  • Industry leading certification in area of Cybersecurity such as CISSP, CISM, MCSE/S, CISA, GSNA, SANS GIAC
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner certification
  • 3 years’ experience of working in international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
  • Excellent presentation skills, and able to deliver Service Management Training to NCSC staff
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to interact at all levels up to Board level management
